To be saved you must turn away from sin, believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus, and receive Him as Lord and Savior of your life.

Here is the step-by-step process.

First, you must consider your life and then turn away from everything in it that is contrary to what God wants. This turning away from selfishness and toward God is called repentance.

Acts 3:19 – “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

Second, you must acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross to forgive you of sin. You take Him as your Savior to cleanse you from sin
– as the substitute who paid the price due for your sin.

Romans 5:9-10 – Much more than having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Third, you must ask Him to be Lord of your life, acknowledging openly and verbally that Jesus is not only your Savior but your Lord.

Romans 10:9 - that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

The Bible says in
John 1:12 - As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in His name.

So when you open your heart and receive Him, He comes into your heart – your inner person – through His Holy Spirit, and begins to live His life in you. From that point on, it is your privilege and calling to confess what God has done.

God helped me. He can help you.

I have seen God work in my life in many different ways.

I came from a dysfunctional family, but with God's help I was able to change the course of my life. I decided I did not want to emulate the lifestyle I had grown up with. I prayed a lot for God to help me become a different person. To build a calm, happy, secure lifestyle with someone. God provided the most awesome man for me to marry. We have built a strong marriage. We are raising two daughters. We have struggled with issues but have seen them through.

Issues like: miscarriage, angry parents, job challenges, difficulty getting pregnant, and friends that betray you.

God is great and my life is a testimony to that.
God bless you,
Beth
